Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actor who is known for her lead roles in a variety of television shows as well as her powerhouse performances in movies. She is popular on both Canadian and American TV. Emily began to become interested after she watched her sister Katie doing a movie. Emily began attending classes in acting and auditioning when she realized that she loved acting. The first time she auditioned was with few ads and soon was selected for Are You Afraid Of The Dark A Canadian horror film for children. In one single scene she appeared without speaking any words. On the WB program Glory Days, she received her first break in the industry at the age of 15. Emily's performance in the WB show Glory Days, which was canceled nine episodes later, caught the attention of and landed Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Emily has also been a professional dancer as well as a photographer. She was listed as among the top 20 Teen's actresses. In Maxim's Hot 100 for 2014 listed her at number 51.
